"Rod Knocking"

Hey guys my oil line that runs to the oil presure gauge busted the other day and drained my oil. I only drove a couple of miles before i realized I had no oil presure and towed it back to my house. I got that fixed but when I started it up now there is a knocking coming from my second cylinder. I think its a rod, any idea how much that would be to repair?
Thanks

It really depends on how much damage was done, and there is no way to tell until the engine is torn down.

If you are having a shop do it, the majority of the cost is going to be labor. engnbldr.com will give you an idea of the parts cost though.

I'm going to get a used motor from a junk yard, I want to swap it out for a v6.
Thanks guys

Are you talking about a 3.4 liter V6? You don't want swap out a 22re for a 3.0 liter V6. lol. Those engines don't have the best reputation.

I would like to do a 3RZ swap, but I doubt that's gonna happen anytime soon.
