Yea really strange. Figured the laser block would identify that it's a 22r/re block too since they look so close to the 20r. There's also an 18r if you go back far enough.
Anyway, here's a good reference for years and applications for the different R engines. Only thing I can think of is the orig 22r oil pan was rusted or had a hole, and the person had a 20r pan sitting around.

Right on I'll take a look see through there. And let me know if you come across the right oil pan, tune, and dipstick.
And thank you for all the help as well, glad we got that part figured out. Funny to find all the screwy things people do to these rigs being passed around owner to owner lol..

Well we killed as many birds as we could with just one stone lol. I got 5 manual chain falls, a 3 ton come along, and the two electric chain falls (both don't work, they were listed as working but oh well) for a pretty nice price. My dad got a chain saw while we were in that area too, and I hit a 2nd guy with 2 yale 1 ton chain falls for $25 each. No one wants the manual ones anymore I guess.
Anyway back on topic, I had a chance to dig though the shed, and under the T100 parts was the 22r oil pan I was thinking of. It's a 2wd, mid sump. Inside is a little dirty, but not too bad, outside is rusty (typical for Michigan). No holes or anything that I can see. I didn't see the oil pickup tube, I wonder if the one on your truck would work fine.
