Question for anyone with a swing out tire carrier and Jerry cans
I got a 4x innovations rear bumper + tire carrier+ jack mount + double Jerry can mount for my first gen 4runner. I have Ford f150 3 leaf springs in the back (rears up front) which sag pretty bad with just a spare tire so definitely need more support for the tire, jack and cans. Will a new 3/1 leaf keep me level (assuming mine is just worn out)? Or will a 4/1 pack be necessary? I don't want to do all the work and still sag, or have my rear sticking up. Thanks in advance

Yeah, I was planning on that, but decided I wanted to replace bushings too. With all that trouble, figured I may as well go for a whole new setup considering the huge weight I'm adding to the back. I'm also doing this to combat highway wobbbles but thats a whole different conversation (not super happy with the addco aftermarket rear anti-sway bar, need to rebuild with heim jonts and relocate / triangulate shocks. If it was still winter I'd be willing to save money and spend more time cannibalizing other springs but it's warm and time to wheel.

I have a very similar setup but with a homemade swing and tire carrier. I have I believe a 3 leaf f150 spring with 2 extra leafs added. The extras are toyota leafs from who knows what. They still flex well and hold the weigh.
It is just a 31 on there right now.
