Lost power to gauge cluster and turn signals

My '85 4runner was driving fine. Then suddenly I noticed that there is no power going to the Oil pressure, coolant temperature, tach, battery, and fuel gauges. Both turn signals do not work as well. I checked the fuse panel under the hood and driver's side and didn't see any fuses that were blown. Thanks in advance!

It appears that my alternator went out. I checked the voltage across the battery with the engine running with no change in voltage from the engine not running. I'll update the status when I install a new alternator.

I replaced my alternator, but it didn't solve my problem. I'm going to try to disconnect the fuse box by the driver's kick panel and clean the contacts and replace the fuses. Hopefully that'll do it. Any other suggestions?

That happen to me once, found out a fuse blew. It is the fuse block inside the driver side. I just gud ol' wire jumped it when it happen. If that is no good then check the power side of the circuit or ground side.

Ok so my full symptoms are all gauges (tach, oil, battery, fuel) except for the speedometer do not work. The turn signals do not work either on the dash or the lights themselves. The backlights inside the gauge cluster all light up and the hazards work. I believe the dome light quit working as well.

I've replaced the alternator and all the fuses with new ones, still no luck. Anyone have any other advice? It'll be a week or two before I have time to take the dash apart...

I've tried looking at the service manual electrical diagrams, but I'm having a though time interpreting them. The dash, turn signals, and dome light all are powered with a 7.5a fuse, correct? Am I missing something?

Same thing happened to mine. There is a 10 amp fuse in the driver kick panel that was bad. Ended up being my reverse light sensor wire by the tranny was grounding out on the tranny.
