Just finishing up Dual's, Just need a skid plate.

Well It was always my intention to get a Bud built skid plate for my dual cases, but I just recently noticed that one of the Trail Gear distributors has the TG Dual skid plate shipped to my door for 170$.

Does anyone have experience with either of the skid plates. Is the BB skid worth almost double the TG one?

TG stuff is on sale right now.

I sell TG stuff.

Personally, I have the Bud Built one but I'm a friend of Bud's too.

I have BB skids front and crossmember since '04. Quality and awesome customer support.

If it were me I'd build my own with the front range cross member bolt pad and some Dom and ruff stuff kit would be cheaper then either and no need for transfer case mounts that will need to be replaced with the bomb proof and that's another 100 bones for both. But that's just my oppinon it's what I'll be doing to mine after the first of the year b

Funny thing when I bought my Budbuilt Skid plate years ago off eBay it was shipped from Trail Gear...guess what they came out with a few months later??

I would recommend Bud Built for the Customer service. $170 from T-G shipped is a smoking good deal. These things weigh a buttload so not having to pay shipping will save you $$
