thanks..i looked at the durabak and im leaning towards that. does it hold up good?

navyredneck Nov 9, 2007 03:20 PM

Mine is holding up really good and the smell was almost like new car smell :hillbill:

One or two edges have peeled because I didn't sand aggressive enough.

A patch under my clutch has dissolved due to leaking clutch which was unnoticed until after the floor was done :bang:

One gallon will be enough for a regular cab with two coats with enough left to do a tailgate (I did a test on my tailgate which had very little sanding and just a coat of xylene prior to -> it's held up really well considering I drag steel trash cans across it)

I'd recommend the durabak if you want to use a colored bedliner.

i was thinking a grey not sure yet..did you primer before? or just sand

rowdy235 Nov 9, 2007 05:19 PM

my friend coated the inside of his cab with duplicolor bedliner. Its holding up OK only had it in for around 3 mos so time will tell. We just sanded it like heck and then wiped it down with some acetone.
