creeper T-case shifter

Has anybody used one of these trail gear creepy T-case shifters? The idea is really cool and I know that dual cases are that way to go but, not right now. I know where I can get one of these for pretty cheap, just wanted some input before I bought and installed. By the way I am running one case and 4.7 in the transfer. thanks for the input.....

No personal experience with that shifter, but they all work about the same, as long as you have a top shift t-case. Installation is the hard part, getting the interlock pin out of the case can be tricky:

When I installed my 4.7 gears, I made sure to leave the interlock pin out :) I am going to order a twin stick kit from Davez offroad performance, they are on backorder right now. But his setup looks to be the strongest and most reliable. Plus its american made.

would be easier if the case was being rebuilt and the 4.7 are going in but I had planned on doing it all at once, that is usually the best route.

O.K. E-tpye R is that a better one than trail gear? do you have a link?

You can twin stick the single case. Do it when you put the 4.7s in and save the trouble of tearing it down twice. Got twin stick on single and dual cases. You want to add the HD detent springs too.

Trail gear is a pretty good you think? it looks like a pretty simple part (not a lot to it.) Noted about the HD spring. thanks wabit

Hey Wabit turns out that the kit that I could get for cheap wouldn't fit my runner anyway but I still do want to get one, so I looked on your site and didn't see any there so I ordered it off of another site but didn't see the option of the HD detent pin. where can I get one? thanks

Daves uses set screws to hold the parts in place, rather then roll pins. I've read a few reports of TG twin sticks having the roll pins fall out, into the tcase. Not something I would want to happen on a daily driver. Maybe its been fixed now, I don't know. But there are 4 different twin sticks out there for our trucks.
