Welcome to YotaTech.... bilstein does not make the 5100 series rear shocks for a 2nd gen 4runner have to go have to go with the heavy duty for the rear........also the 5100s are for a 4'' lift

Oops, my mistake posting in the wrong forum. I clicked one group too high. Thanks for the heads up on the bilstein HD's...I ended up getting those. I've tried to do research on what will be the best shock for me, and have checked so many threads. The problem is so much of it is useless information. A lot of the time someone had upgraded from their stock worn out leaky shocks and thinks that the upgrade is great. Well that's only helpful information to a point. The shops I've been in reccomend only what they sell, and what costs the most. It's often difficult to sift through the misinformation. I have used Bilsteins on my track car and on the race car and they are great. So Bilsteins it is!
