auto trans flush
 

i have an 85 4runner 22re auto with 129k on the truck... i dont know if the fluid has ever been chainged, but its brown and burnt smelling... the truck shutters when it shifts into over drive...

my question is: is it safe to flush the fluid or should i just leave it alone?
