85 front axle hub dowel pins?

broke the front detroit locker and the front pinion gear this weekend, while i am waiting on parts and gear setup i started cleaning and painting stuff when i noticed that one of the 2 dowels for the hub was sheared also, i tried to search for them via the web and i cant find anyting without buying a new hub .......so my question for anyone that can help, do you know where i can buy these dowels .........i called the local toyota dealership and they dont have a clue and say it is something i have to locate at the local pick and pull.....but that is not happening where i live as anything toyota is pulled right away.........thanks for any help in advance...............ps this is a 85 front axle

Hard to believe that one dowel would be sheared without any damage to all the other studs.

It really should not be that hard to believe. the countersunk holes the cone drop into are larger than the studs. the holes for the pins are just large enough to slide over the pins. I have wheel hubs that have 1 and 2 broken pins, but the studs are all intact. These are just hubs that came off donor axles I bought from people that can't keep bolts and nuts tight. All my trucks are upgraded to 7/16" fine thread bolts with no cones, with stock pins. Even before, a 12mm socket on those hub bolts every now and then just like when you check driveshaft bolts, steering box bolts, and u bolts. All should be common to check on occasion..like before and after weekend long trail runs. .
