'84 4runner: Sourcing diff gears (4.88) help
 

Hi, after a recent trip my 4runner blew the rear diff (5L V8 and 33s will do that I guess...) and I am trying to source a new ring/pinion set but am having trouble finding any. It is an '84 4runner with solid axles and 4.88 ratio (8/39 teeth).

Where can I find aftermarket gears or are there any other toyotas with the same gears? Any help will be appreciated as I am trying to just fix it and sell the vehicle.

PS I'm from Australia but willing to ship parts over from the US if I have to.

looks like its the right one to me and swapping out the whole 3rd is alot easier than swapping new R/P. goodluck
