Question 84 22r Disconnected Vacuum Lines Sensors/Switches

Today my 84 22R Toyota pickup failed smog because of "disconnected vacuum lines sensors/switches." There are two hoses that go into something behind the distributor but aren't connected to anything else (see pics below). I have no idea what these are and the vacuum diagrams I have seen haven't been any help.

The two hoses:

Where they connect:

Any help would be great!

I should probably add that my truck passed smog last time with these hoses exactly as they are now.

on pic #2, does that vac switch go into the exhaust manifold?
I have headers installed before I got the truck, so I'm not sure if it was there.

Thats not the original power steering pump that came on your truck, so somewere along the way its been changed. 84 carbed 22R`s didn`t have those vacuum hoses, so what you need to do it unscrew that fitting from the pump and go to the hardware store and buy a plug to replace it. I would recomend that you paint the top of the plug black so it blends in and is not noticable, that should make the smog guy happy.

its a 22re pump, so you might try explaining that to him. It has no bearing on your truck emissions. Or, just loop the hoses together and bury them under something.
