ok i didnt see any write up on this so i figured i would ask if there has been one or if anyone knows, i just bought a 84 toyota shell, the 22r block is sitting there with the head taken off and its in the back, now if i go through and rebuild this motor, i still need a tranny, the tcase is sitting in the back, one of my buddies has a 2wd trans that he told me he would sell me for cheap, can i somehow make a 2wd trans bolt up to a tcase for 4wd?

 

holy ungoddliness... this sounds like a scary project, but for people to help, what tranny, t-case etc do you have????....and what kind of 84 shell, 4rnr, taco??? this is gonna be a crazy specific project, you need specific questions.... also, what tools and experience do you have? welding? own welder?
