Windshield gasket
 

Hello I have a 1982 Toyota long bed and was wondering if anyone knows where I could get the chrome insert for the oem windshield gasket? Or if my old insert could work on a new gasket? My gasket is becoming brittle!!

Don't bother with the gasket. It is purely cosmetic. In fact, it traps water, dust, debris and hastens rusting. See my write-up about that and what I did on mine (Deleted the full gasket).

you can buy a new weatherstrip specifically for this gen , with or with out the lock clip .. use the one with out , thats what I usually do
