Steering wheel spins when breaking

When breaking my steering wheel turns to the left. The tires track straight, its just the steering wheel. Does that mean I need a pit man arm?

it may mean that one of your brakes has more stopping power than the other side

Sounds like your steering adjustment is loose and your left front brake is working fine while your right is weak, probably worn or bad cylinder if you have drums.
