ok so heres whats up, got a 32/36 weber on my 20r fairly new year and a half old. there is a electric choke on the carb but i dont know where my electric choke wire is would not having my choke hooked up effect the running condition of my carb. MAHALO

Could it? YES. Is it? Not sure.
If your choke is set up correctly the butterfly valve will be closed when the choke coil is cold (ie, not heated by the elec coming to it from the wire that should be hooked up). when butterfly is closed you suck less air and more gas = bad milage, top end, ect.
If your choke is not set correctly and the butterfly is "stuck open" you will have harder starts on cold mornings (not something you have to worry about as much in HI I assume) and may run crappy till the engine warms.
Find the elec choke wire from your stock carb (it was green on my '81 if I remember correctly), put a new female connector on it that will fit the webber and you're good to go.
Might not hurt to check out the thread on webber carb tuning/setup as well.

It may start hard when it's cold but that's about it.
