New to yotatech
firured i’d branch out and see what i could see from where i’m at !!! I run an all original 82 SR5 long bed 4x4 5spd. TMU the speedo gears were gummed up on the back of the cluster ,have since freed em up . She’s in real good shape inside &out and ran just fine untill the other day . I was headed back to the house from town and she started making a loud clicking noise . I pulled over and got a ride to the house . Went back and loaded her up on the trailer and got her to the house. Dropped the tranny&tcase .Pulled the top cover and the input gear and the gear below it lost some teeth! Dammit Dammit!!!!
i called Marlin Crawler and hes 3-4 mnth turnaround .so i find myself in a pickle . Should i try to find a used L50 or L52 tranny or bight the bullet and send it to Marlin for a rebuild ?????? These trany’s are not that common anymore . Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!!
