vital22re 12-22-2009 01:35 PM

with the engine off you should be able to shift into nuetral

boyblue 12-22-2009 01:36 PM

i cant its locked in reverse its resting in the gear

have someone pull you forward a little. Its probly not the best idea to pull your tranny out on hill. Get your truck to a more level spot and while they start to pull slip it in neutral.

ok cool should i get a performance clutch?? or just oem?? i wheel a lot what do u recomend and what brand

vital22re 12-22-2009 02:04 PM

the stock clutch was not ment to hold tires over 31's Marlin has some good clutches. Do a search its been covered before.

a lot of people recommend the stock Aisin or the 1600 lb kit from Marlin.

pulling a transmission on a hill would be a PITA. big enough pain in a garage. make sure to secure the truck--block it.

I threw a 2100lbs marlin clutch in mine.. I have nothing else to replace it to except stock.

Marlin has their 1200LB HD clutch on sale right now for 152 bones.
