My 81 2 Wheel drive is one inch higher on the driver side?? I have 3 inch lower block
I can not figure out why my truck sits leaning higher on the drivers side as I have exact same leaf springs in back with 3 inch lowering blocks.
I have tried to adjust my torsion bars to even it but has not worked. I am about an inch lower front and back on the passenger side. Not sure where to go from here??

Right off the bat I would remove the springs and check height from one to the other. I was able to get about 3/4" adjustment to get mine perfect. I ended up having mine re-arched 1" lower and to find out I had one sagging spring. Added a leaf, re-arched and adjusted my front bars. 100% perfect. I own the 81 Toyota 2WD as well

Thank you for the message. It was my first and figured no one had any input.
I will pull the springs and check them as suggested.
That will only cover the back though, correct? For the front, no matter how much I play around with adjusting the toresion bars I can't get the front to level out either.
Nice rig, looks exactly like mine!

As long as the rear springs are arched at the same degree...the front torsion bars will make up the difference. I was having the same issue, I removed my springs, added a leaf and re-arched. It takes some time running around the truck, checking the height after each adjustment on the front to get it perfect.

OK, will do. In the mean time I am posting another thread on the carb and fast idle adjustment.
No, see my new emoji, it's a blue SR5. Thanks much for the insight and look at my next question if you have a possible answer on that too!
