ISO '83 4x4 Rear Suspension SPRING SEAT

Hello,

I've scoured the internet for a set of spring seats for the rear leafs. Any idea where I can find these, ubolts, pins, etc?

Thank you in advance.

If you have a local spring shop near you try them. I just went thru this with my 1980. I used hillsborough spring and alignment about two hours away from me here in Florida

Were they able to fabricate new seats? Toyota no longer carries them.

Any place that carries trailer axles and supplies will have all kinds of weld-on spring perches, center bolts, u-bolts, and the like.. They are usually fairly inexpensive.

There is a great resource in Tucson AZ for this material: Wheel equipment Inc. I have no interest in this Co., but i have purchased axles, springs and such from them in the past.

Red face

I would guess over the years I must have made 100 sets of these if not more

Any Fabricator should be able to make a set if you can measure your springs

I Never checked but I wonder if General Spring sells them

What is a spring seat? I came across this ISO a softer suspension. Maybe a actual spring seat would be easier than trying to choose which leaf springs and shocks will give me the 1978 fleet wood brougham Cadillac air ride I'm looking for

i wonder how many springs and what spring rate I would need for my drivers seat, although I'm thinking of getting new seats for my truck so maybe I should put this off

I don't know if this is a joke, or whether you really think that this thread has anything to do with what you sit on????

Spring perch, spring perch, Spring Perch, SPRING PERCH........ google it. Then go buy a Caddy if you want a Caddy ride.
