Intake question
 

Quick question, and I hope I get the answer I am looking for.. Will my Offenhauser intake fit the 85-95 head?

I think it will but need to be sure.. Most of the engines I find say 85-95, mine is a 83.. I know the deck height is slightly different..

I looked on Summit, they say 81-90. But also say "Engine Block Style:Stock/OEM standard deck" And that is why I am confused...

I'm almost certain that it will. The reason why it may not cross reference is because most 85-95 heads are EFI. The offy should fit a 84-85 carb and I'm pretty sure that the heads are the same from 84-95 regardless of Carb/EFI. Maybe check with Ted from Engnbldr - he would definitely know.

as long as you are running a 22R and not a 20R it should work. The 20R had round intake runners and the 22R had rectangular, other than that the intake mounting surfaces didn't change. Sometimes you have to run a different thermostat housing depending on fuel pump clearance issues when you change intakes.
