My work in progress. 81 custom cab 4x4 had a troubled 350 in it but soon to be 22r. reliable and gutless. In the process of rewiring it front to back. Hopefully a fiberglass bed is soon to come.

A Chevy 350 to a Toyota 22R swap is much better (but slower), than the more typical Chevy conversion.
I thought so too. The power was cool and all, but it just didn’t feel right. Plus, the reliability of a 22r is perfect in my mind. Just need to finish rewiring, then get some gearing to spin those 37s and it will hopefully be all cosmetic from there.
