While im waiting for some extra cash to get my oiling sestem for my remote turbo on the yota i went down to ace and picked up some stuff for less than 24 bucks (since i thaught it was rediculous to pay as much as they want for the fancy plastic ones) and made a quick snorkel.

Look, I don't know a darned thing about these snorkel things but is rain going to be an issue with the thing angled the way it is and slightly open on the top?
I'm not kidding, I really don't know, just wondering.
Isn't too horrible, kinda goes along with the truck ok and like they said, if you're happy.....

so how is that thing at speed? Seems like with the dryer hose it would bend back at anything above 20mph and block the view out the passenger window.
I think that is what is pissing off your girlfriend since she can't see out the window..

oh god, it is horrible isnt it, haha. I was so bored and had a couple extra bucks in my pocket and blam their i go making a horrible dryer ducting snorkel. Haha. my bad
no amazingly enough i havent had any rain get in there and its been raining like crazy here lately.
nope, if you can maybe see, there is two different hose clamps holding it to the little gutter thing down the a pillar.

A little OT, but this gives me an idea. I'll start a new thread but how many ways have you guys heard your woman say they don't like your truck without coming right out and saying it. You know:

The rest of the truck? you ask. . . doesnt have to be pretty to get you home, but some things, like that snorkel, are beyond the realm of brain farts and stupid ideas. I mean rarely do you describe a truck with the terms bad arse and pretty in the same breath.
