Early 1978 Toyota Pickup Flasher Location?
Hello there guys, I have another question concerning my little truck. A brief description of what happened. I started cleaning out all the wires due to there being an alarm system that did not work properly, and before this my hazard lights and turn signals worked, but after cleaning a lot of hanging wire they both have stopped. I changed out the fuses, and nothing, so the culprit seems to be the flasher unit.
Now, my question: where is the flasher unit located?
I've seen a description of where to find it, but it isn't where the passenger's kick panel is and it isn't in the center of where the radio was, I have also checked the firewall, and nothing. I have found, the buzzer relay, the belt indicator relay/switch(?). I bought a EP32 flasher from Autozone, it has three prongs, but as I am looking around I can't find where it is in order to replace it, I also am not sure where it goes to install this new one.
Is there a picture of what I am looking for? I see three different clips that are hanging from the main wire harness, but they are for a two prong unit, and the three pronged one is too small for the flasher I bought. For a frame of reference, my truck is closer to the 1977 and earlier set up rather than the 1979 and later models.
Your help is greatly appreciated!

Old metal bodied type
I know yours is a 77/78 so yours may be gold colored & metal bodied but if it got the model that replaced it then it will look like this

Unfortunately after more research the flasher is not located where yours is, but rather where the radio used to be.
My suspicions were correct there isn't a flasher currently in there. I found two hanging wires that has one as having power when the key is in the "ON" position. I am going to do some crimping and use the flasher I got at Autozone. I will come back with more once I am done.
Thanks again.

Okay, so I created some jumpers and connected the two prong flasher (yellow). I have the three prong flasher (black) just in case I need it I suppose. The only difference between both is that one gets a ground wire while the other doesn't.
So I chased the two lone green wires from the main wire harness and plugged them into the flasher. Red is power and the pink is the signal from the hazard lights and the turn signal.
The flasher in my truck is not near the fuse box unfortunately.
yellow flasher that is actually connected.
This is the view from where the radio should be, along with the wiper switch and cigarette lighter switch.
