im looking to buy a used amp or volt gauge for my 82 as mine didnt come with one. can you guys with 82-83 that have this feature post up pictures. also on how its mounted. thanks

Any 79-83 volt gauge would work. There are a couple bolts on each side, and a bracket. I'll try to get a photo but can't promise how soon it will be...

im not sure if in 82 the volt gauge was changed to amp gauge or did it stay the same as 81 and was volt?

My '83 has Voltage and Oil Pressure. Unless someone beats me too it, I'll post up some detailed pictures of its mounting brackets tomorrow morning.

Were you still interested in the cluster or have you located another?

thanks, i might have a seller for all the cluster and radio bezel i been looking for. giving me a great deal all everything but if deal falls thru. i let you know

I know that in 82 the trucks had a voltmeter and the 80 trucks had an ammeter. We have both trucks parked in the yard at home. Both in the pod under the heater controls. Both have oil pressure gauges there too.

I had 1979, 1980, 1981 and 1982 Toyota SR5 4x4 pickup trucks (Fed. Emisions) and all had Voltmeters. I currently have a 1983 Toyota SR5 4x4 shortbed (Fed Emissions) and it has a Voltmeter. I have never seen an Ampmeter in a stock Toyota 4x4 but I have heard about them in various Toyota Forums.
