81 2 W SR5 Aisian Carb idle/ fast idle issues
I recently dove into removing my head to replace the valve oil seals to fix my bluish smokey exhaust issue. I have not worked on a 22R before and wanted to learn. Managed to pull off the intake manifold with carb still attached, and exhaust manifold etc. I took it to a good machine shop to have the head resurfaced etc. then got it all back together.
Had a little trouble on getting the timing to where I thought it needed to be but it's running again.
My trouble is that before all this, the fast idle worked fine when cold, then it would bump down to a regular idle when warm. Now it is not doing that at all. I have adjusted the idle screw but for some reason, I can't find a fast idle adjustment screw. I should say I did nothing to the carb except clean it off well.
This is an early 22R FED, and my set up is totally stock still and i see no fast idle adjustment. I know it doesn't have a fuel/air mixture screw and the A/C adjustment screw was totally missing but I found one I put in that would fit but don't think that would effect this issue.
I am attaching pics of what my set up looks like where I think the screw should be.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
