79-83 factory green color
Has anyone ever seen a factory green color for the 79-83 pickups? I have been searching and saw a few that might have been repainted green.

the second one in the middle looks to be factory green in the fenderwell and under the hood but I have never seen one in original paint that was green.

Go to here: http://www.toyotareference.com/truck/1979-1983
And look through all of the sales brochures. Also has swatches of colors on the website that are approximate (every computer displays color slightly differently)...
There are pictures of the following gen's greens if you click on the color names as well. None of the gen you're looking for however.
Edit: There's a green in the 1980 & 81 brochures...

the computer says that in 83 there were about 20 different greens that toyota made. Its too far back for the computer to be specific about which, if any, were on the trucks though. I tried.

Toyota reference shows which colors were available which years and on which specific vehicle... Where available, they show pictures of vehicles w/ the colors too. Not sure how exact it is, but it seems accurate from what I've seen.

Pure green
The reference site does show a "pure green" for 1981 in trucks but I personally have never seen one. I was curious if anyone has seen one and got a pic of it. I think that it would be a killer color for a restore with some SR5 stripes added.

The 80 and 81 brochures on that site show the color, but that's from the whole pre-digital era where a lot of adverts were cut and/or colored by hand on the first edition prior to rolling the printers... So they should be close, but unlike photos won't be exact.
The third pic above alleged to be modified and repainted actually looks pretty close.
And that Automotive touchup's paint is usually within a shade or so of the exact color -- due to fading and whatnot overtime it probably is as close to exact as you can get a but a fresh tint and 20 year old original paint job won't match exactly...

Found this 1977 edition in what appears to be the olive color offering: http://www.oldparkedcars.com/2011/02...r5-pickup.html
And this '74 in deep green:

This is might be a sun faded "pure green" but possibly the yellow -- inside is a little sharper (more of the key lime pie color than I was expecting if it's the green):
This one is definitely yellow and looks a different shade to me at least:
Edit: In the sun the first one is definitely yellow (grrr):

Yes, 681 was available on trucks in 1981 according to toyota reference.
If searching google images, this site shows color swatches (bear in mind this will be the paint color which will change slightly in appearance once buffed and topcoated...): http://www.paintscratch.com/paint-colors.html
Dark Green 6E8 (1982 only):
Green 681 (1981 only):
Pure Green (1979-1980 only):
