Autopal, Cibie, Hella, and Roundeyes are all good brands. A lot of people go with Autopal because they're cheaper.

I run hella e codes in my 79. Hella are pricy. i only have them cause i got the for free. i would go with thee autopal ones.

had the 6"off road autopals on my 92,pretty good light, but ended up changing bulbs cuz one was...foggy.

I have the Hella VisionPlus DOT/SAE approved with Phillips VisionPlus H4/9003 bulb. Much brighter than the cheapo sealed beam.

You buy cheap you buy twice.

BMcEL 06-07-2012 01:50 PM

Most of the time, yes. Autopals are great quality and inexpensive, hence their reputation. You could buy two sets of Autopals for the price of one set of Hellas. The only real difference is the thickness of the glass.

dirtdobberoffroad 06-07-2012 02:20 PM

I disagree on the buy twice as long as you do your research!!!
