2" body lift kit, vrsus drive shafts

I'm Installing an Old Man Emu Suspension 2" body lift kit. Do I need to get longer drive shafts for this small amount of lift or is this not an issue?

OME makes body lifts??? I didn't know that. What model and year is your truck and what is OME parts number??

A body lift should not have any effect at all on suspension measurements. All shafts should fit unchanged.

A suspension lift is something completely different, I know OME makes those.

A 2" suspension lift should not be enough to require driveshaft changes, but you'll have to measure what you've got to be sure.

Following.

I'm in the process of installing OME springs with Skyjacker BlackMaxx Shocks and doing a 2" body lift as well.

Body lift doesn't change any suspension components so therefore no driveshaft impacts.
you will need to lower your radiator, gas filler hose extension possibly, brake lines possibly impacted etc...

Ok, I'm new to this blog; Let me start by saying that you all Rock and this is really appreciated advise. My truck is a 1982 Toyota SR5 4x4 standard cab pickup. The truck was gifted to me by my Brother; He has too many vehicles. The truck's R22 engine, transmission, and transfer case has been completely overhauled. I installed the Webber Carb on the R22 engine. I decided to completely upgrade the suspension and restore the entire undercarriage to include rust conversion and undercoating the frame and underbed. I've purchased: 2- 4.88 gears complete third members from East Coast Gear Supply, Trail Gears' Toyota full hydraulic steering kit ( 130305-1-k ), The OME kit was ordered thru Low Range Off-Road: Kit # ( OMETOY79LKSB ) ...and Yes it is a 2" Suspension lift--Stock Load. Thank you to everyone who offered up advise. I'm an old classic Jeep guy and ORV dirt bike and Quad guy, so, this info you've provided is highly useful. Re: Knightflier
