1980 Non Tach gauge cluster change over

1980 Non Tach gauge cluster change over
Hello,
My 80 truck came as a 4 spd, non power steering, no a/c standard 4wd pick up. The gauge cluster that I currently have does not have the center tachometer. A yard close by has a gauge cluster with one. 20R not sure on which transmission.
Can someone who has done or consider changing out give me any direction on:
1. Can it be done?
2. Difficulty.
3. Quit touching it!
4. Threads on "how to"

5. Do it!
I did it for an 83, which is a whole different deal, but yes it can be done and is worth it. Quite possibly all you need to do is run a wire for tach, but you may not even need to do that much...my memory of this stuff is fading but the knowledge is out there.
