Coolant bypass tube installed. Now just gotta do everything in reverse. Installed intake manifold and torque the nuts and bolts to 25.0 Nm. Reinstalled the throttle body the intake manifold and torque nuts and bolts to 9.0 Nm

Looks good man! I have the runner that's 2tr swapped. Great job on going thru the engine before hand. I wish I would've had more time to go thru mine more before the swap as well, but I couldn't tie up shop space longer than I did. I quit counting how many miles I've racked up on mine now. It'll be a quick ride being even lighter than my heavy runner. I'm mid way thru finishing my turbo manifold for it and I'll pass along updates once I get something making noise.
But again, SOLID WORK!
My most recent issue is with the small factory power steering pump reservoir and it not having enough capacity to deal with heat on a solid axle, even with a big cooler installed. I found the earlier 22re feed line into the pump itself is exactly the same between the 2tr pump and the 22re pump and even has the hold down threaded bolt hole. That allowed me to temporarily run a factory remote mounted reservoir that holds more fluid. And I've now built an even larger one. Just a heads up if you start to run into heat issues. I overheated mine out wheeling and blew my front pump seal out. Irritating to say the least based on the cost of factory pumps.
