1979 with AC?
 

I just saw a 1979 with a wood dash and AC controls. So l looked under the hood and there were two threaded connections on the firewall by the passenger side. I thought I read air conditioning wasn't available in 79? Was this just a dash swap and the connections not even for AC? There was no compressor or brackets and no one to ask...

Can anyone post pics of their connections on the top passenger side fire wall for comparison?

It was available. The threaded connections were for the AC setup.

i have a 79 with AC. can somebody post some pictures of how the compressor is attached inside the engine compartment? i havent been able to figure it out with my bracket and compressor. Im also in need of a compressor clutch if anybody knows where i can get one of those.

Rockauto has them so does Napa and orielys

negative. i tried all those places. all said they no longer carry them. anybody got a picture of how the compressor is mounted and where? i have the 20R with i think original bracket.
