Solid front axle

Hi,
I'm looking for a solid front axle from a pre 85 pickup/4runner with third member, ideally but not required with 529 gears.
I'm in Socal
thanks
Steve

Check ebay, but these things arent going for cheap. Ive been looking for the last year with no luck.. I read about people saying they paid 200 for these things. Thats not happening where I live

Thanks, and yes you're right. I've been looking at them for a while too and even housings alone typically go for $350-$500. But then you have to find a diff, buy new axles/berfs...
Turns out I was extremely lucky as not 2 days after posting this I extended my CL search to all of California and found a great deal in the Sacramento area. I was a little hesitant because it's over 700 miles round trip but I am glad I did it. It was the whole axle (housing, shafts, everything hub to hub basically and diff). What made me go was that the diff already had 529's (which I am already running in the rear and in my IFS third) and had a detroit locker. $750 for everything.
So I think there is a lot of luck involved in the process.
