Sorry for the late reply but zytra has been covering this thread pretty good.....the 7.5" gears are still here(they really are Zytra's gears) and available. No other 456 gears in my possession....

No. The clamshell is a high pinion reverse cut gear set.
I just checked my limited take-offs stock and I have nothing in the 456.

I'm the guardian of Zytra's 456 gears....Surely, somebody has a need for good 456 gears.....good in the rear of a yota 2wd pickup...or the front of 4wd 1986 thru 95 trucks/runners that still have the IFS front end.

I checked my inventory and have a good rear 456 V6 8" as well as the front IFS 7.5" 456 gears(actually zytra's front gears)......
I can offer the rears for 75 shipped and the fronts for 75 shipped....in the continental 48 states.
These gears will fit in your 88 rig.

33"~ 35" tires is 488
31" is 456

so the accepted ratios per tire size fits your bill.
