Toyota IFS steering boxes. $80ea. delivered.
I've got a load of IFS steering boxes on the shelves, and would like to move them out. $80ea. shipped to your door. If you have a solid axle power steering box lying around, I will give you $100 for it.
If you are going to highsteer, send me your solid axle power steering box, and I will send you an IFS box plus a check for $20. . Let me know if you are interested. (619)251-8052
Thanks.
Update 1/13/2014: I'm all out of good IFS boxes, but have several good used core steering boxes for sale for $70ea. shipped. See this thread:

I am located in Seattle. Most guys who ship me their Solid axle steering boxes use a large USPS flatrate box, and the cost is $16.
As for what I do with them, I am a core supplier. I sell (primarily) rebuildable steering components. It's why I have all of these IFS boxes as well. For the most part I buy things in bulk, which means that I buy out a wrecking yards entire stock of items. So for example, when I bought these IFS boxes, I also got 3-4 solid axle boxes, several manual solid axle boxes, 5 2wd steering boxes, 5 2wd manual boxes, and 3 saginaw boxes. I bought all of it so that I could get the prices down on the IFS boxes, otherwise I couldn't offer them for $80 ea. I don't actually make all that much money on them.
The solid axle boxes are another thing I like to keep in stock. Since they are older and not as common in wrecking yards, I have to find them (primarily) from individuals. If guys are doing crossover steering then it helps them with getting rid of parts they don't need, and getting a discount on the parts they DO need. Since I also sell hgihsteer kits, it makes sence for guys to do the trade.
So short story long, I look for the solid axle steering boxes as items to get rebuilt. I don't do rebuilds myself, and most of the rebuilds and adjusting procedures you see online are incorrect as well (talk to any reputable rebuilder and they will show you the necessary steps that most online rebuild's forget to mention). If you guys have any other questions, feel free to ask. You're also welcome to give me a call. (619)251-8052.

I need one mine leaks pretty bad. I'll have to look if I still have my old box around too. Might have scraped it already. Would you want a rebuildable ifs box too?

I'll take your leaky IFS boxes back, but i'm only able to give $35 credit towards these right now. The shafts can't be twisted, and the box can't be bound up. As it sit, I am starting to run low on these. I have one left, and there are two guys interested in it. If I run out of good IFS boxes, I will still pay $100 for your old Solid Axle power steering box, and $35 for your leaky IFS box.

Back to the top. I just got in a load of these, and they will start shipping on Monday Dec. 10th. If you are interested in one or more, let me know. I am also still doing the trade. You send me your solid axle steering box, and I will send you one of these, and a check for $20. Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks.
Thanks.
