broken tap removal

I replaced my front calipers, rotors, pads, bearings, and seals on Saturday. While I had everthing stripped down I ran a tap through the holes on the knuckle (dust shield/backing plate). Got 3/4 of the holes tapped and then "SNAP"!

I bought these extractors a while ago, they are well worth the money. Not sure if I got them from Matco or Snap-On.

That's awesome.

I would never had thought to look for a tool like that.

Thanks for the Heads up.

but will it help me get my head out of my A$$?

that's usually the biggest problem for me.

Craftsman makes similar extractors, I have them and bolt off's as well. Not cheap but well worth it as drilling is a pita.
