ok I ordered my bikini kit with bow from 4xjedi (thanks Mike) He had it delivered monday, I had ordered it the friday before (wow, super fast) the kit came complete with all needed hardware and very well written instructions. The canvas came from winrock off-road for an fj40 (tell em mike from yotatech sent ya) After removing the top (see owners manual) it took me about 20 minutes to put the top on, mainly because it does require drilling 4 holes. Next install should take 10 minutes at max. Recomended Mod to any 1st gen 4runners. Good stuff

I got the channel and bow. Good stuff. I won't be putting the hard shell back on period.

Only question I have has anyone modified the straps as he mentions? Doesn't seem like a regular sewing machine will handle it.

did all the hard ware come from him or did the mounting hardware come from west virgina i head of some one selling the bows then buying the top xtra not sure but im looking for one for a 88 four runner

 

4xjedi's kit includes all hardware or you could buy it withou the bow. The top is a softop from an fj40. I bought my canvas from windrock 4x4. You can find mike (4xjedi) in the classified section. I believe he may have sold out for a while on some of the parts. also he was moving and may be slow in responding..
