Windrock / Copeland's Cove Runs Jan '07
Jack and I ran Windrock and Copeland's Cove over the past two weeks. Here's some pics and video of the action.
Freshly SAS'd 2nd gen on it's maiden voyage @ Windrock http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...k/101_0212.jpg Jack found a nice hill climb connecting 21 and 3 if I remember right. This is Jack making short work of the climb http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...k/101_0214.jpg http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...k/101_0216.jpg Would've got some video of Jack if I could operate a camera  Vid of me attempting the same climb...and getting stuck on two small rocks before even getting to the tricky stuff http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...7/laughing.gif http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...h_101_0218.jpg Who needs finesse? :hillbill: We made it though http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...k/101_0219.jpg Creek crossing on ?36? http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...k/101_0227.jpg Ran into some cooling problems later in the day http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...k/101_0228.jpg D@mned electric fans :D:D a mechanical allowed us to run without trouble on the Alpine Trail @ Copeland's Cove Video of Jack on a a hill climb http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...h_100_0236.jpg It's incredible how looking at this on a monitor can make the land look so flat when in fact it's extremely steep :con: I jacked my front bumper on the same climb when I slid into a tree :D:D Luckily we didn't get video of it... http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g1...mperDamage.png Looks bad, but the damage is actually pretty minor and relegated to the bumper and signal lens. Got some more video but I don't have time right now to find software to edit the clips right now :D |
