Its amazing that a stock 4runner can perform as well as a lifted Heep.

yeah, this was the farthest ive pushed my truck offroad thus far and i was plesantly suprised what my truck could do. i have been under-estimating the offroad capibility of my truck.-however my alternator did quit charging today.. so i guess that was a loss, but its no big deal.
yeah alternators have a habbit of fryin after mud...get one with a lifetime warranty so you can keep bringin em back..just wash em off first :D
haha, i didnt even think of that, thanks man
your alternator may still be good, the mud usually just gets in and clogs the brushes from making contact. Run fresh water through it and give it a slight tap with a hammer, the shock will usually free the brushes up. Have had this happen to me many times.....
