Just out of curiosity, how deep of snow can the fjz80 drive in without getting stuck? |
Fantastic trip report and great pics! Good to hear from our icelandic members again...
love that Hilux DC... very nice cabin... is that a club cabin or one of those "survival" cabins I've heard the government puts up in the back country to protect travelers/workers caught in storms?... Looked like that chef was hard at work setting up a nice Pork Loin Roast... want to share a recipe for Icelandic style Barbecue? |
Epic post.

Are there any rear pics of the blue (I think) 4runner? Looks like it has a very unique tailgate/rear door.... I'm talking about the royal blue on in the 7th and 10th pictures from the top.

Amazing pics! This reminds me of the Top Gear special - except you guys don't have a production crew with you and support trucks that are there to make sure the BBC doesn't have to pay out any insurance claims to dead TV hosts families. That looks like amazing fun - some of the toughest looking trucks ever. |
