It was nice to finally meet so many of you.... I dont know about ya'll but i had a blast. i'll have pics up tomorrow. but if you missed out, you REALLY missed out. there was a ton of awesome rigs, awesome food, great vendors (yotaworks mostly but the Wired E-drink Girls went too bad to look at either :)) awesome times, and great weather. contrats to Josh for Best Racecar.

vital22re 08-30-2009 07:22 PM

56k warning.. maybe too late!

here's what i got http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/u...e/DSC00350.jpg http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/u...e/DSC00351.jpg http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/u...e/DSC00349.jpg http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/u...e/DSC00359.jpg http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/u...e/DSC00358.jpg http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/u...e/DSC00355.jpg http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/u...e/DSC00354.jpg http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/u...e/DSC00353.jpg http://i628.photobucket.com/albums/u...e/DSC00352.jpg too bad the trailer queen got best off road. They should deffinetly make subdivisions for trucks and tacomas and one for 4runners.

kiyobrown 08-30-2009 08:26 PM

nice pics!! pissed I missed it. Gonna have to figure out how to make it next year. Would have been nice to meet everyone in person. Hopefully we can have another get together soon.

vital22re 08-30-2009 09:13 PM

you did miss out man! and you're local!!! you could have taken an extended lunch break

Plumbrbob 08-30-2009 09:17 PM

Good times! good to meet everyone!

next time I'll make some mud from my backyard and shovel it on my hood to win the best mud award.

JeEVeS 08-30-2009 09:21 PM

Damn, I need to pay more attention to my surroundings. a cummins powered fj40!!!!! any more pics of that. and thats a super duper clean chinook. i have been really interested in these lately, all not having a home and what not. and its a 4x4. super clean, awsome. and an FJ55 (45?)!!!! i have only seen pictures or them moving. never parked. i would have drivin up just for those three. sounds like ya had some fun.

Plumbrbob 08-30-2009 09:29 PM

the toyodge landcruiser was a real clean build but I am not really into cross breeds like toyotas powered by dodge........ but that Chinook was bad a$$ it was blinged out even with the original 20r motor on dual mikini with tons of braided, chrome, paint.

vital22re 08-30-2009 09:58 PM

the land cruiser was way to clean/straight to be considered "off road". And yes the chinook was way better to look at in person than pics. Next year there will be an rti ramp or a forklift. Should have been more catagories. Maybe a little explanation on some of the catagories. And shoveling mud onto your truck should be an automatic disqualification on the best mud.

Great pics.
Sorry I missed out, but I had an opportunity to spend some time biking with family yesterday.

Hopefully next year.

BigBluePile 08-31-2009 09:20 AM

Awesome time, great showing!!! It was nice to meet/great you all! I had to leave early, but it sounds like I didn't miss much. Next time I'm going to buy 500 raffle tickets so that I can win everything like the other guys there... There definately needs to be an RTI ramp for next year!!

Vital, there should be a "best campsite" award next year since you had such a sweet setup, then maybe Corey might show up!!!!
:D hehehehehe!! :D :jk::grouphug:

I'll post up some pics when I get home tonight.

Whens the next wheelin trip dangit???!?! :bigok:

Corey 08-31-2009 09:58 AM

I would have loved to. My station is about 10 miles or so from there. But our fire engine is made by pierce, not toyota, so I wouldn't have been able to cruise down while I was at work. I should have sent the wife down there so she can see I am not the only one that keeps buying parts for my rig!

BTW, you aren't supposed to say how the Wired chicks were hot, and then not post a pic of them. Thats just wrong!!

More great pics.
I like that Chinook camper too.

Yeah, I know, but we did the Interurban trail that goes from Algona to Tukwila for a few hours.
Just a nice easy ride.
