i am home, barry and i finished changing austin's cv and we got back to camp about 3:30 this morning. it was a fun adventure, hung out with those guys with the bronco, f-150 and cherokee on rockwells down by fain's ford for a good while last night, they were really nice guys and jumped right in for awhile helping us out.
chris when i get the pics out of my camera i will e-mail them to you, i took a few of yes playing around down by fain's ford.

1) Stock Coils
2) Cornfed 2.5" spacers
3) OME Firm shocks
4) 18" Mastercraft limiting straps
What you see in these pictures is me flexing it out with the passenger side rear shock and limiting strap disconnected. What I discovered is what I thought was going to happen. The shock location and lower link arm length are the limiting factors to our rear suspension really getting flexy. The top links seem to stay pretty lined up throughout both compression and extension, so I think they'll be able to stay the same. I gained about 3", and I know 6-10" is possible with relocating the shocks and lengthening the lower arms. Wouldn't that be sweet?
Chris
P.S. I don't have a rear swaybar, obviously.

Oh yeah wabbit-that mudhole on Trail 8 is now impassable w/o a major lift-Doink tried hard and the mud came over his headlights.

Yeah that mud hole stopped everyone from making it to slickrock that night, Paul, Mark and myself got turned around before we even made it to the hole by the rest of the group coming back saying Mike almost drowned attempting it. Justin said a Zuk(I'm guessing) belly flopped in the hole from the top of the hill climb out.
It was a good time, aside from the two long nights of repair back to back. One due to Toyota and the other just to dumb luck, altough we did get to hang with some cool guys on rockwells like Justin said. Austin I guess that proves your point you were trying to make about Jeep guys, never knock them b/c they me be the ones to save your butt sometime.
I got to ride in THIS , it was interesting just to hear the axels smacking everything on the way up and down without a care in the world. But the ride sucked in the long run b/c it turned into a party on the trail , with me a long way from the rest of the guys and me holding the keys to Justin's truck, sorry again guys I had no idea. :pat:
I suffered only a few dents and dings, a nice one on my rear bumper and a bit of rock rash on my fender flare, then of course the tree scraches, that Paul swares will buff out. Sliders worked great, thanks Brian and a big thanks to Joe(I'll get in touch with you soon).

I had fun guys, thanks to everyone that made this weekend so great. Sorry no picture from me this time.
Scot, you did great, sorry about some of your damage. The scratches will go away, just use some compound and a buffer, than put a coat of wax, it'll look better than new.

Thanks for the shots - we had a great time. Andrew learned a lot and enjoyed talking with you. He loved your enthusiasm for the USA. He talked all the way home about what we take for granted. Great time with everyone !!!
I got a little body damage when we mistook trail 10 for trail 8 - notice trail 10 - not on the map !!!!!!! ATV only trail - good climb though
I'll get a picture of my body damage later today - creased the right front fender. The coil wire slipped out at Fain's Ford and I thought that I would spend the night in the creek - another weird happening at the Ford. Thanks for hanging with me Brett ! Brandi is a good woman - you done well !
