That was a grat run, I'm bummed I had to miss dinner and wheeling Sunday though. Saturday was much fun.
Did you guys get busted by the rangers at camp? On my way out, Pat and I stopped at fish creek camp ground to use the toilet. There was an off duty ranger there who told us that he had called other rangers on or our camp because we were too far off the wash. At the end of Fish Creek where we aired up, we saw four ranger vehicles go down the wash. One of them was the same guy that talked to Mark earlier in the day. I figured you all were done for good.
Pat followed me up to Julian and then went straight when I turned on 79.

I guess I still don't understand. JK
Alex is a crazy guy. He is a lot of fun around a camp fire!
As far as the Ranger thing goes....
2 of the Rangers Jeeps pulled up on the main trail and went lights out for a good 15 minutes. We knew they were coming soon. They must have been watching to see what we were all about which I would do also. Then 2 of the 4 came into camp very cautiously. They ask for the dog to be put on a leash so the coyotees didn't eat it and that we turn down the music so we all could hear them. They were very polite about telling us that we were about to get sited for camping too far off the trail.
I sort of pulled them away from the group and showed them some tracks and a line of rocks that we thought was a Ranger boundary that we were staying within. I mentioned that this YT group was a member of the tread lightly association and long story short I took a written warning for it and promised that the group would be gone before 0900 Sun morning. They thanked us for the metal container for the fire and played with my 2 year old while they wrote the ticket and were on their way.:bigclap:
IMO they were just doing their job and doing it in a very professional way. They were pretty cool about it!

I had alot of fun on this run. It was great to meet all of you guys for the first time. You are a first rate group of guys (and girls). I'm still waiting on Chris to get me the pics he took. Hopefully some of them turned out good.
Thanks again for welcoming Zoey and I into your group. We both had alot fun. Unfortunately, I have a foster dog, Dakota. He's a little too big for the rig so I have to plan trips around the times I can get someone to watch him for me.

Great pics man, me likesy. Zoey sure is a pretty dog, I've got a two labs, but their way too big to ride shotgun. Heck they could probably pull my truck if I tied them to it.
We wondering where you had gotten off to. :-)
