River Rock Pics

Went to river rock this weekend, had the entire park to 15 trucks, awsome park! The driver in the roll over was extremely lucky!

Great trip, I had a few problems at the beginning of the day (busted brake line, busted hub) but after i rigged my hub into working I had a blast. It was nice having the park to ourselves. I was amazed at what that stock FJcruiser could do:eeek:

fireteacher 10-01-2006 06:05 PM

SoiledGreen98 10-01-2006 06:20 PM

Did the guy in the blue truck have a can opener for the roof?

wmflyfisher 10-01-2006 06:27 PM

Na, no one else had major damage that I knew of. I eat both of my rear fenders up from my unexpected "new" flex from the Marlin springs. Its all part of the fun though! I'm gonna try and post a couple vids where you can hear it! Yeah, they cut his top back with a hacksaw!

I didn't take many pics or video, but it will be hopefully only a couple of days before I can post what I do have-my computer is dead again and I'm on a really slow laptop right now.

Marc broke a hub, Dan in the 80 series LC broke a hub and a birfield, the red first gen 4Runner flopped on his side, the FJ dented his front skidplate pretty good and Matt in the SAS tacoma broke a hub-pieced it back together and kept on going and also developed a nasty exhaust manifold leak and that's all that I can think of.

hamstrungtaco 10-01-2006 06:52 PM

wow that place looks like fun

wmflyfisher 10-01-2006 06:57 PM

Yeah, it was really fun and accessable to camp. Next time theres a ride you need to go. Steve, the owner said that it was pretty unbearable in the dead of summer though. We had the best weather this weekend.
