Rausch Creek compared to Paragon
Well, one of my buddies is coming home from the Navy this week, and we're going to hit up Rausch Creek this weekend, because of the Paragon dilemma. Since I've never been there, I want to summon the YotaTech mass to help me out. Are the trails comparable to Paragon in terms of difficulty and likelihood to break something? The only reason I ask is due to having to decide whether to trailer my truck to the trail or drive it there. Anyone who's been to both, please enlighten me

I just read a post about a guy doing a similar comparison:

I just finished up R/C this past weekend.
R/C is more rocky than paragon is, like loads and loads and loads of rocks small and large everywhere. It was a challenge making my T100 and the doble cab 05 taco that was with us fit. The 3rd gen, 2nd gen and 1st gen runners had little issue.
Alot of the trails are windy and curve right through the woods, alot of tight turns but manageable.
Alot of very technical rocky areas for the better built rigs, but we had 2 guys from PA TTORA with truly built trial rigs and our little 4x4 club form PA/NJ with only stock stuff. We managed to keep up fine, did mostly stock and mildly lifted trails fine.
I got hungup 2x b/c of my wheelbase and x-case but it was stupid stumps..
Overall paragon is more like some fire or logging roads with few washouts, easier trails and such. But I liked R/C alot better, trails are much better marked, much better map, everyone was pretty much super friendly and no damn ATVs and bikes cutting around you and your group.
If you have stock rigs or even mildly lifted rigs you'll be fine.
P.S.
That post on the other forum is by the guy with the dbl taco that went with us.
