PNW snow run

First trip with the new dual case setup, 63" springs. Went out of Clarkston toward Mt. Misery, made about halfway across the face of Sunset before we turned around. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

Fun stuff. Let us know when the next trip is.

Next time air your tires down. I run 4-5lbs air in the snow

I told him 5lbs, 5lbs but did he listen, noooooo, first time out and still learning, I had 4-5 in my IROKS but could have went lower if needed. As it was I waited for everyone else all day. Oh yeah good pics reugs21, and try to get more of me and that stealth/special ops/apocolyptic super truck leading, OK.

Cool! That is the type of pics I need as motivation to get mine back on the trail:D

Is that the power steering cooler sticking out? Looks kind of vulnerable:dunno:

Glad it helps with the motivation, and it's the trans cooler lines. I forgot to put my shield/plate back on before the trip. It goes from frame rail to frame rail on the bottom side. It helps keep the snow out of the engine compartment and misc. stuff protected.

Remember Jan 1 is getting close. Better have that PS sytem installed and maybe a locker for the front? I mean you'll have all that time for winter break right?

Looks like a great trip! I'm super jealous of you PNW guys, living in the mecca of snow wheeling!

Hey would you post a pic of that sheild or PM me. After the SAS I have nothing to keep the snow from packing in the engine compartment. If you don't mind I would like to see what works as opposed to reinventing the wheel.

Nice run guys.

looks like a fun little trip ..
What kind of video camera are you using and how are you keeping it so steady while filiming and driving ?

I just recently bought a kodak play sport and tried it out this weekend , tried holding it but lots of shake going on . Looking for ideas on mounting it without getting all that shake ..

Thanks !!
