Played hookey from work and went to Turkey Bay
Had an unexpected visit from our oldest daughter and our maybe/hopefully future son in law Monday. She and the wife went Christmas shopping, and he and I took a ride to Turkey Bay with the hounds. Would have liked to get an earlier start, but we managed a couple hours on the trails before dusk approached. Nothing too hairy as we were solo and there was hardly anyone else there. This was also my first time out in my 4Runner, but I was very pleased with it. My welded 3rd member held up too, and the added traction was amazing. Can't wait to get up there again!

Yessir, and hope to be out more as the kids graduate and move out. Anyone in the area that'd like to join me or recruit a trail buddy, let's post up and let's hit some trails! I'll try to give at least 2 weeks notice so folks can plan ahead.
