Pics of the Road Trip

This was the family's annual road-trip. This year we went thru Zion, Bryce, over to Moab for Arches, Dead Horse SP, and Canyonlands, down thru Navajo country to reach Grand Canyon, then south to Sedona, Prescott, and on home. Took 9 days and 2000 miles. I'm already intching for the next one. Enjoy these tasters - there's too many to post.

Great pics! :great:

Looks like a lot of fun.

I'm digging that trailer too, by the way. What is the box made of/from?

Erich

It's a pick-up bed from a 1925 Model T. Got it from a woman my company helped after the wildfires of '03. A work in progress but a lifesaver when it comes to room for the dogs.

Looks like a great trip, Andy! Nice pics too. That trailer cover looks like it works really well. Have you gotten any grief yet from the Po Po for the no fenders? On the dirt roads did you have any problems with rocks bouncing off the trailer and hitting the back of the truck? I know how you feel, I have definately got addicted to our annual summer road trips. I think we are going to have to hit up some of those places next trip. Thanks for sharing the pics!

The tarp was a lifesaver for the little rain we got. It was also nice not to have a pile of road dirt in all out gear.

No grief for the lack of fenders as of yet - trying to jinks me or what. HA HA. No plans for any either. I got the freakin' CHP code in my glove box in case I do get pulled over. It's got something in there about a trailer weighing less than 600 lbs not needing any fenders. Cool.

No road gravel to speak of hitting the Toy either. I do have to relocate that freakin' trailer jack. I might even just get rid of it and come up with something custom for when I un-hitch it. Fab. Fab. Fab

I have two Toys in the family so they get equal time on separate boards (TTORA & YotaTech) although I post mostly in regards to the Taco. The Runner is my wife's baby. Guess I should hand the avatar over to the Runner, Huh?
