Out West
Nice pics and man are some of them HUGE!
Well, I've never been out west, but at least now my ex-ARB has! :guitar: |
What'd you think of the steep part at the end? And did you take Webster Pass back or did you go up S.O.B. hill and on up to Glacier Ridge?
Nice pics! |
Yea... sorry about the big ol pics. The steep part in the end was when I was the most scared. It had parts with snow on it, and I was sliding pretty fast downhill with no control at some points. I took Webster pass back so we could get home before labor day traffic.

SWEET pics, Larry! Glad you made it up. Looks like the tundra has lost its green. I will respond to you PM about directions on the others in a little bit. The 'Runner looks great with all the new additions!

those are awesome Pics.
Man I wish there were mountains around here. |
Thanks guys :banger:
|
That's my kind of trail, not very rugged, and beautiful scenery, that's what it's all about to me.
Thanks for sharing the photos! Looks awesome up there! |
i'm with you scofco. sometimes these hard trails are as much fun as the mellow, scenery filled trails.
|
What was the most exciting part of doing Red Cone?
|
I went up Red Cone for the first time back in '90 with my friend's '88 Toy PU which was surprisingly stock with bigger tires and we made it up with little trouble and that downhill section makes things pucker a little on the way down.
|
yea those are huge pics. but nice shots though. whats it like going through mountains like that?
|
I love those pics
|
Nice trip. I have to find some roads like that. I'm not very hard core. I just like to get out whare few other people do.
