Hoover Ponds
"The Ponds" as it is know to us locals, has been a popular spot for many years here in southern Oregon. It has never been very challenging. Just some semi-deep water holes and some mud.
Our County parks dept. did a revamping of it though, and added a rock crawling course as well as better mudding. Checked it out today, and was glad to see the changes. Part of the Crawlin course http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/d...scpics1042.jpg http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/d...scpics1045.jpg Some other Areas too. http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/d...scpics1037.jpg |
That's great!
Now it won't just be for dirt bikes :hillbill: Erich |
Ive gotten stuck there a few times in the deep holes there isnt alot to hook your winch to other than that its kinda fun I prefer Prospect, Applegate, and Elderberrys Trails where your out in the woods not right in town. But i do agree that "the ponds" have gotten better
